About CSAAC Community School of Maryland
Our Community School of Maryland is a twelve-month, non-graded day and residential school for students ages 6–21 with autism. Each student’s IEP guides instruction in functional academics, communication, daily living, social and leisure skills, vocational development and transition planning.
We use Applied Behavior Analysis to individualize behavioral support and help students practice skills across school and community settings. Small classrooms have no more than seven students, with staffing based on individual needs. Families work with our team as students prepare for community participation and future employment.
