About Children of Christ Preschool
Children of Christ Preschool meets inside Christ the King Lutheran Church on First Avenue North in Altoona, a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We teach 3 to 5 year olds in small classes with a Jesus-centered program, and each morning session runs from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m.
Families pick a schedule by age. Three-year-olds attend Tuesday and Friday for $120 a month, the three-day group for ages 3 and 4 meets Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for $135, and four- and five-year-olds come four days a week for $165. A $50 registration fee and a one-time $50 supply fee cover the rest of the costs, and children can join for the spring session if space opens before January.
Our days are built around hands-on play, new friendships and learning about God's world. Families bring a healthy class snack once a month from an approved list.
