Montessori School of Greater Lafayette is a nonprofit, parent-owned Montessori school in West Lafayette. It has served Tippecanoe County families since 1972 and is accredited by the American Montessori Society. The campus overlooks the Wabash River Valley. Children must meet age cutoffs by September 1. The parent/infant program is $920 a year. The toddler program (age 2 by September 1) meets five mornings a week for $6,390 a year; 2-year-olds are not eligible for all-day enrollment. Early childhood (ages 3-6) options include five mornings or five afternoons at $5,600, three afternoons at $3,350, and all-day at $11,200. There is no nap program. Kindergarten full-day is $11,200; half-day kindergarten is $5,600. Early childhood classrooms keep a 1:12 ratio with a 24-student maximum. Elementary (through the elementary years posted on the tuition page) is $9,310 a year, 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., at a 15:1 ratio. Early arrival for early childhood students is 7:30-8:30 a.m. After care for ages 3-10 runs 3:30-5:30 p.m. MSGL does not participate in the Indiana Choice Scholarship.
