Neighbors' Educational Opportunities, known as NEO, is a Portage-area education organization with adult education, a testing center, and job training. It is not a special-education school. The same organization operates Options New Vistas High School, a tuition-free public high school open to Indiana residents of all ages. New Vistas offers a Core 40 diploma with smaller classes, flexible schedules, project-based learning, student-led pacing, remote coursework, dual credit, vocational options, and early graduation. The high school also lists on-site mental health services, remediation, and accelerated learning. Adult education sits beside that high school path for adults who need credentials, testing, or training rather than a traditional campus day. NEO's Portage adult-education work sits with that high school path. It is a general-population adult and alternative-diploma program, not a therapeutic campus.

Portage High School is the public high school for Portage Township Schools. The campus is at 6450 U.S. 6 in Portage. It is not a special-education school. The school motto is Educating, Empowering, and Inspiring Excellence. The JAG program helps students reach graduation and career goals. The class of 2023 earned JAG Indiana and JAG National 6 of 6 and 5 of 5 performance awards for graduation, employment, further education, military enlistment, and first-year connectivity. Specialist Allison Knight accepted those honors. The campus also hosts a college and career fair in the PHS Fieldhouse, with financial-aid sessions in the LGI Room. Portage Township Schools received a 2026 America's Healthiest Schools award in Improving Nutrition and Food Access, covering each school in the township, including this high school. Portage High School is a general-population district campus, not a therapeutic school.
