The Area Career Center serves Area Career and Technical Education District 2. We serve 10 area high schools, including Calumet, Edison, Griffith, Hammond Central, HAST, Highland, Lake Central, Morton, Munster, and Whiting. The Area Career Center offers 15 high demand programs. Students attend the program of choice either in the morning (7:45 - 10:15) or the afternoon (11:45 - 2:15). Programs run a minimum of one year with the exception of Cosmetology which requires 2 year commitment.
