Eagle Park Community School

Eagle Park Community School is a public special education school in Crown Point, Indiana, operated by the Northwest Indiana Special Education Cooperative. It serves students with disabilities whose needs are intensive enough that a case conference committee has determined they cannot be met in their home school building, drawing from the cooperative's seven member corporations: Hanover, Highland, Hobart, Lake Ridge, Lake Station, River Forest, and Tri-Creek.

The school's goal is an environment in which students and staff become the best version of themselves, built on strong relationships, best-practice instruction, a rigorous curriculum, and a focus on social-emotional learning. Curriculum follows the Indiana Academic Standards, with reading and writing built on Savvas MyView and My Perspectives alongside Edmark, N2Y, Edmentum Fast Phonics, and Reading A to Z. Students take art, music, and physical education, and the art program sells student work through its own Etsy shop. Instruction continues into the post-secondary years of special education through age 21.
