Westchester School District 92½ is a member of the LaGrange Area Department of Special Education (LADSE), a cooperative of 15 school districts that serves students with disabilities ages 3 through 22. District 92½ handles assessment and identification of special education needs for students who live in its boundaries, and it offers early childhood screenings for younger children.

LADSE runs a West office in Westchester at 1640 Newcastle, alongside its main office in La Grange. Its member list names District 92½ with 12 other elementary districts and two high school districts in Cook and DuPage counties. District 92½ says services reach both students in its own schools and resident students enrolled in private schools, and it plans behavioral intervention assessments when needed. Westchester's high school district is not on the LADSE member list, so ask that district about its own services.
