Advance Learning Academy

Listed
Saint Marys, GAGrades K-12$460 per month (K-12), August to May

Advance Learning Academy is a small private school in St. Marys that enrolls students at any level, from kindergarten through 12th grade. Our staff includes teachers certified in gifted education and in special education, and we individualize the curriculum for each child to fill academic gaps. IEPs are honored and special education services are offered on campus. Because the Georgia Accrediting Commission accredits our school, graduates earn a diploma that qualifies them for the Georgia HOPE Scholarship, HOPE Grant and Zell Miller Scholarship. Students can take traditional or web-based courses, become eligible for dual enrollment, and juniors and seniors may earn credit for work-study and mentorships. Our values are grounded in Christian principles. Tuition is $460 per month from August through May, with a reduced rate for lower-income households, a 10% discount for additional siblings, and a tiered schedule for students with disabilities based on staffing needs. Field trips have included Sapelo Island, the Georgia Aquarium and Kennedy Space Center, and we have fielded a girls' volleyball team. We also run a summer program and after-school tutoring that uses MAP testing.

Tree House Academy of St. Mary's

Listed
St Marys, GAGrades PreK-5

At our center on Sugarmill Boulevard, Tree House Academy of St. Mary's looks after infants from 6 weeks old up to children of 12, weekdays between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Our school-age program serves families from nearby Camden County elementary schools, including Crooked River, Mary Lee Clark, Sugarmill and St. Mary's Elementary, so older siblings can spend before and after school hours with us. Our infant, toddler, three-year-old and pre-K classrooms use the Frog Street curriculum, which ties lessons across developmental areas and includes English and Spanish materials, and teachers use Conscious Discipline to build social-emotional skills. Toddlers and older children receive developmental assessments twice a year, and pre-K concentrates on literacy, numeracy and the everyday skills children need for kindergarten. Each day's food includes breakfast, lunch and a snack in the afternoon, and formula is provided for infants. The building has controlled entry, and our staff are all CPR and first aid trained. Families can also ask about our Mother's Day Out program, and summer camp brings themed crafts, STEM experiments and two field trips a week to places such as bowling alleys, skating rinks and museums.
