John Milledge Academy

John Milledge Academy has taught Middle Georgia students for more than 40 years from its Log Cabin Road campus in Milledgeville. We are an independent, Christ-centered college-preparatory school for Pre-K through 12th grade, with a 10:1 overall student-to-teacher ratio.

Pre-K learns through thematic units with weekly library, music and PE. Lower School students add art, music, character education and Spanish to core subjects and take field trips each year. Middle schoolers choose enrichment in art, writing, computer literacy or Spanish and can join FCA and the National Junior Beta Club. The high school offers AP and honors courses, an elective final period, and dual enrollment with Georgia College & State University for qualified juniors and seniors.

Our Instructional Support program serves qualified students from elementary through high school. Families provide current psychological evaluations, and parents, teachers and administrators write a plan of accommodations together, with a support teacher in each division.

Trojan athletics fields 16 teams, including football, baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, track and wrestling. Students also join literary, music, visual arts and student council activities.
