Killian Hill Christian School has served Lilburn since 1972 as a ministry of Killian Hill Baptist Church, teaching students from K4 preschool through 12th grade on a 27-acre campus. Our average student to teacher ratio is 18 to 1, and K4 classes run at 15 to 1. For current students with mild learning disabilities, our Learning Discoveries program in grades 1 to 12 provides individual therapy for dyslexia, auditory discrimination and visual perception. A certified dyslexia specialist can screen students, and we use the Barton Reading and Spelling System, a one-on-one Orton-Gillingham based program, along with educational therapy based on Lindamood-Bell and NILD methods. Students in the program must be able to work in a regular classroom. We also participate in the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship program. Elementary students have daily Bible, weekly chapel and specials in STEM, music, art and drama, PE and library. High schoolers take AP and dual enrollment courses and can join band, choir, theater, robotics or debate, and our teams play basketball, soccer, volleyball and cross country. Extended Care for K4 through 12th grade starts at 6:45 a.m. and runs until 6:00 p.m.
