Wetherald Behavioral Academy - Leesburg

Wetherald Behavioral Academy's Upper and Lower campus is at 552 US-82 in Leesburg, near Albany. It is a private Cognia school for kindergarten through twelfth grade, ages 5 to 22, and is separate from Wetherald's clinic ABA offices. Students follow either a standards-based track or an adapted standards-based track for intellectual and multiple disabilities. Instruction uses applied behavior analysis methods and is planned from academic and behavioral assessment rather than age or grade alone. ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy are available on campus during the school day. The calendar follows a traditional August-through-May year. Tuition is private, with grant and financial-aid applications accepted January 1 through March 31. Admission applications are accepted year-round.
