Lyndon Academy

Laura George founded Compass Prep Academy in 2005 to give students of every learning style a place where they fit, and today we run a K-12 micro hybrid academy on Holly Springs Parkway that mixes in-person classes with digital learning. We are a Christian and patriotic school, and each day opens with the Pledge of Allegiance and a blessing. Elementary students attend three days a week for $5,100 a year, with level-appropriate math, science, social studies and language arts and a focus on phonics. Middle school tuition is $5,600, and high school students choose a two- or three-day schedule for $5,600, with courses from Algebra I and II, geometry and chemistry to world literature, Financial Peace and a foreign language. Mindset Mondays bring one-on-one or small-group tutoring, and Elective Wednesdays cover American Sign Language, art, music, drama, woodshop, P.E. and health. The Georgia Accrediting Commission has accredited us since 2009. Homeschool families can join our Directed Studies Program for a HOPE-accredited transcript and advising, and we also offer academic coaching, dual enrollment advising and transfer support. Families may use the Georgia scholarship tax credit program.
