About The Arbor School of Central Florida

Arbor School of Central Florida is a specialized educational institution dedicated to providing customized, therapeutic education for children with high functioning Autism, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome, Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), and other learning challenges. The school's core mission is to help students connect with the world around them while unlocking their inner potential and creativity through a sensory-based curriculum.

Key offerings at Arbor School include a range of programs designed to support diverse learning needs. These programs encompass a sensory-based curriculum, transition to work and college, on-the-job training, and an Artist Collective that fosters creativity. Additionally, the school provides summer camps and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) initiatives that engage students in hands-on learning experiences. Therapeutic methodologies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy are integrated into the educational framework to ensure comprehensive support for each child.

What sets Arbor School apart is its commitment to creating a nurturing and results-oriented environment. With a low student-teacher ratio, students receive personalized attention from highly skilled and compassionate educators. The school's campuses in Wekiva Springs, Winter Springs, and Lake Mary are designed to be inclusive and supportive, featuring specialized technology and resources that enhance learning. Arbor School also emphasizes community integration, preparing students for successful transitions into adulthood through vocational training and real-world experiences.

Amazing Explorers Academy Winter Springs

Winter Springs, FL Grades PreK-8
STEAM curriculum Reggio Emilia inspired Project-based learning

At Amazing Explorers Academy Winter Springs, on State Road 434, the youngest children in our care are 6 weeks old and the oldest are 12. We are open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., covering infant and toddler care, preschool for 3s and 4s, Florida VPK, and before and after school care for ages 5 to 12, with homework help, STEAM projects and outdoor play. School-age children can also join summer camp weeks themed around science, invention, forensics and engineering. Our classrooms use the STEAM Investigation curriculum, which draws on Reggio Emilia principles and project-based learning. Spanish, robotics and coding, culinary lessons and a sports program are part of the week, and Zen Zones give children a calm place to reset. Through the Amazing Choices program built with Nemours Children's Health, we serve healthy meals and snacks and build physical activity into each day at no extra cost. Families get daily updates through the AEA app, and the school uses secure entry, background-checked staff and live-stream cameras. We also teach children how to explore artificial intelligence safely and creatively, rather than relying on AI to teach them.
