Creekside Charter Academy
Creekside Charter Academy opened in August 2018 on U.S. Highway 301 in Riverview, enrolling kindergarten through 8th grade as a free public charter school. Charter Schools USA manages the school, the Florida Charter Educational Foundation governs it, and our campus has capacity for 900 students. Our mission rests on STEM, AVID, and college and career readiness. Teachers follow the CSUSA Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum aligned to Florida standards, and each student keeps a Personalized Learning Plan to set goals and lead their own conferences. Families who want a gentler start can choose Flexible Kindergarten, which blends on-campus instruction with guided learning at home, and a C-Flex option is offered in grades 6 to 8. Our Tigers run cross country, play soccer, flag football and basketball, and cheer on sideline and competition squads. Before and after care runs on campus, with a daily snack in aftercare. Admission is by online application, with a random lottery when a grade has more applicants than seats during open enrollment.
