About Ocean Learning Center, LLC
Ocean Learning Center is a small private school in Palm Coast for students in grades 6 through 12 who do better outside a traditional classroom. We offer full-time and hybrid enrollment, and students work at their own pace in smaller settings with mentoring from our program facilitators. The school grew from an idea our founders had in 2010: not every student learns the same way, and many were missing chances to build life, career and vocational skills.
Our students learn through a blend of OLC classical education, Edmentum courseware and FLVS courses, and we track progress with Edmentum Exact Path and STAR Reading and Math. Eligible students can also earn college credit in Daytona State College dual enrollment courses. Life skills, health, career and vocational training, student-driven extracurricular activities and community outings are all part of the program, and our math and science teacher works with students one-on-one.
We welcome students with disabilities and review each student's IEP or Section 504 plan during admissions, and every student receives documented accommodations and modifications as needed. Tuition can be paid with FTC, FES-EO, FES-UA or PEP scholarships through Step Up For Students.
