Achievers' Preschool

Oakland Park, FL Grades PreK-5
Private school

Achievers' Preschool, on West Oakland Park Boulevard, enrolls toddlers from 12 months and preschoolers up to age 5, and our after-school program welcomes school-age children ages 6 to 12. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Toddlers start in our Toddler 1 room (12 to 23 months) and Toddler 2 room (24 to 36 months), then move into preschool and our certified Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) class, which prepares four- and five-year-olds for kindergarten. We accept VPK and Early Learning Coalition funding. After school, we pick children up from neighboring schools and provide homework support and outdoor play, and we follow the Broward County Public Schools calendar so children have care on holidays, teacher planning days and breaks. Summer camp and winter break programs add field trips, museum visits and arts and crafts. For safety, the building has closed-circuit camera monitoring, parents sign children in and out each day, staff are CPR and first aid certified and pass background checks, and children wear uniforms. We also host parent workshops such as Cooking Matters and parenting seminars.
