About Country Club Children's Education Center
Country Club Children's Education Center is APPLE accredited as a Gold Seal Quality preschool and cares for children from 3 months old through Florida's VPK year. Our classrooms are grouped by age: infants from 3 to 12 months, toddlers and two's from 12 to 36 months, preschool for 3 and 4 year olds, and VPK for 4 year olds getting ready for kindergarten.
We use The Creative Curriculum for Preschool in every class, mixing teacher-directed lessons with learning centers, free choice time and outdoor play. Our Creative Time Expo has children traveling to different countries to learn about new cultures and artists. Teachers track growth through daily informal assessments and a portfolio of artwork, photos and notes for each child, and VPK students take formal assessments during the year.
We open at 6:30 a.m. and dismiss until 6:00 p.m., with breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack on a five-week menu cycle, a nap period and two outdoor play blocks. All staff members hold at least a CDA or child care training credential plus CPR and First Aid certification, and children wear a uniform shirt.
