Advance Learning Academy
Advance Learning Academy in Maitland is a fully inclusive private school founded by a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst. We serve PreK4 through 12th grade, with classes of 12 students led by a certified teacher and a teaching assistant. Speech, occupational, physical and behavioral therapy are available at school, and positive behavior supports and social-emotional learning are built into the day. Lower school classrooms (PreK4 to 5th grade) are multi-age, grouped by age, academic level, emotional development and social fit. Students learn on iPads, teachers use interactive whiteboards, and weekly specials include art, music, P.E., yoga and gaming. Secondary students bring their own device, work in small groups with an emphasis on self-advocacy, and are evaluated before admission. Our campus has two outdoor play areas and a separate art and science room. Clubs cover music, photography, art, Lego, soccer, gaming and STEM, and families can add extended care before and after the school day, tutoring and the PALS summer camp. We accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship, FES-UA and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship.
