Lakewood Ranch Prep - Upper

Beyond the Spectrum Education & Therapy Center is a nonprofit education center and therapeutic clinic in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. It serves students ages 4 and older in Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties diagnosed with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and related developmental disorders. The school offers four specialized programs focusing on academic, functional/vocational, and foundational growth. These include the Peabody Academy for middle and high school students working toward an accredited Florida ACCESS Standards diploma, the Advanced Learning Center for ages 12-22 emphasizing life skills and independence, the H.I.V.E. program for young adults 18 and over focusing on vocation and enrichment, and an Early Learning Center. Therapies such as speech, ABA, OT, PT, and mental health counseling are integrated throughout the school day. Enrollment involves submitting an intake packet with current IEP, diagnosis, and evaluation documents. Placement is based on availability and assessment. The school accepts FES-UA Scholarship and Step Up for Students funding. It operates as a day program with school hours from 8:30am to 2:45pm and does not offer residential services.
