Desert Sage Elementary School
Our Falcons range from preschoolers to fifth graders, all on one Pueblo West campus in Pueblo County School District 70. The preschool classes use the Bridges and Heggerty curricula, and grade-level teams carry students from kindergarten through 5th grade. Teachers here build creative, real-world lessons, and we put relationships first. Three values guide the building: we value people as individuals, we value effort leading to success, and we value education and take responsibility for it. Students learn the Falcon Ways, our shared expectations for behavior. A school counselor and our library program support students during the day, and bus routes serve our families.

Pueblo West High School
JROTC, career and technical education pathways, and opportunities to earn college credit give students several academic choices at Pueblo West High School. We provide course guides so students and families can examine those options while planning the high school years. College and career readiness resources and our counseling team support that planning, with information for freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years as well as mental health resources. We prepare students for graduation with attention to responsibility, lifelong learning and connections across cultures. Students can also participate in athletics and clubs, contribute to the yearbook, or take part in the Eye of the Storm literary journal. Those choices let them pursue interests beyond a single academic subject and participate with classmates in school activities. Families can follow the Cyclones Storm newsletter for school updates, use PowerSchool and review enrollment information. Our business pathway students develop a business idea and examine its feasibility, and complete a capstone project across the academy's four years. Interested students can access company internships.
