The Medical Day Treatment Program is a joint venture between Children's Hospital Colorado and Aurora Public Schools, created in 1991 to serve children and teens whose chronic medical illnesses prevent them from attending a traditional school setting. The program runs Monday through Friday at the Anschutz Medical Campus, integrating medical care, individualized schooling, and mental health support so students can keep learning while managing complex health needs.
