NorthCreek began as a preschool in 1970, opened its Academy in 1999 and added a junior high in 2001, graduating its first eighth grade class of 11 students in 2004. Today nearly 400 students in kindergarten through eighth grade attend the Academy, a ministry of NorthCreek Church in Walnut Creek, and we are accredited by ACSI and WASC. Our Classical Christian program follows the Trivium. Elementary students master facts through chants, jingles and songs, junior high students sharpen logic and debate, and all students take Bible, art, music and PE, with Latin starting in second grade. Junior high adds electives and after school sports, and our Learning Assistance Program helps students who need extra academic support. The preschool enrolls toilet-trained 3s and 4s, and children with special needs are considered individually. Family Child Care runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
