Cupertino Middle School serves grades 6 to 8 on South Bernardo Avenue in Sunnyvale as one of five middle schools in the Cupertino Union School District. Bear Pride is our schoolwide PBIS program, and our Portrait of a Learner work helps students grow as global contributors and resilient learners. Clubs meet at lunch and after school throughout the week. Students can join FBLA, robotics and engineering, math competition, Girls Who Code, speech and debate, band, orchestra, creative arts and sewing, along with basketball, futsal and wrestling clubs. After-school sports, our library and Project Cornerstone round out student life, and eighth graders take an annual trip to Yosemite. Cupertino Union provides a full continuum of special education services for mild to intensive needs, with maximum inclusion in general education classes.
