Wings Learning Center

WINGS Learning Center in San Bruno provides school-based education for students with moderate to severe autism. We combine individualized academics with communication, sensory support and practice in daily living and vocational skills.

Our program includes a sensory gym within the occupational therapy room, with sensory activities integrated into students' routines. Music therapy takes place in individual and group sessions, and our music therapist works with families on students' interests and needs. Life-skills lessons include personal hygiene, meal preparation, time management and money skills.

Students also take part in art, science activities, community outings and social recreation. Extended School Year offers summer learning with community trips to places such as beaches, parks, zoos and restaurants. Staff train in crisis prevention, behavior support and individualized student support.
