Alta Loma Christian School

Springs Charter Schools' Rancho Cucamonga Student Center on Archibald Avenue is home to our Discovery Col-LAB-orative program, a five-day, in-person STEAM program for transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, with a minimum day on Wednesdays. Science, technology, engineering, arts and math are woven across every grade through project-based learning built on real-world problems. Each student has a personalized learning plan that sets out goals, strengths and areas for growth, and teachers use differentiated instruction, adaptive learning software and one-on-one, small-group and independent work to meet each child where they are. Our campus has STEAM labs and a makerspace stocked with computers, tablets, robotics kits and 3D printers, plus a resource library. Students also take Spanish class. As part of Springs Charter Schools, a tuition-free public charter network accredited by WASC for grades K-12, students can join STEAM clubs, competitions and after-school programs, and the center runs a meal program. Springs families in San Bernardino County can also choose homeschool, online, Montessori and other personalized learning options, including enrichment workshops at the Rancho Cucamonga Learning Lab.
