About St. Timothy's Preschool
St. Timothy's Episcopal Church is a welcoming community that embraces individuals of all backgrounds, including those with special needs. The church's mission is to create an inclusive environment where everyone can participate fully in worship and community life. Specifically, St. Timothy's Preschool serves children aged 3 to 5, focusing on those who may benefit from a child-centered, emergent curriculum that nurtures their unique developmental needs. The preschool fosters a peaceful and cooperative atmosphere, allowing children to thrive through engaging activities tailored to various learning styles.
In addition to its educational offerings, St. Timothy's emphasizes inclusivity in its worship services, accommodating diverse needs and encouraging participation from all ages. The Early Service is particularly child-friendly, held outdoors during warmer months to promote a more engaging experience for families. The Nave Service features contemporary interpretations of traditional liturgy, enhanced by a vibrant worship band that unites the congregation through music that resonates with both contemporary and gospel traditions.
What sets St. Timothy's apart is its commitment to fostering strong family partnerships and creating a supportive community environment. With low student-to-teacher ratios in the preschool and various opportunities for fellowship among congregants, families can find not only spiritual nourishment but also meaningful connections with others who share similar journeys. This holistic approach ensures that every individual feels valued and included within the St. Timothy's community.

Mountain View-Los Altos Montessori Children's Center
Children ages 2 through 6 learn together in our mixed-age Montessori classrooms on West El Camino Real, and we offer both a preschool and a kindergarten experience. We are a state-licensed program with more than 35 years in early childhood education, and we run year-round with an optional summer session. Each month follows a theme. Mornings open with circle time, then a long work period where children choose materials from practical life, sensorial, math, language, geography, science and art shelves. Spanish, singing and movement are part of group time, and a 45-minute outdoor recess follows. Our 2's classroom keeps a shorter routine with snack, art and circle time before naps. Families pick the schedule that fits: half days until noon, a 3/4 day until 3 p.m., or full days ending at 4, 5 or 6 p.m., all Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. Annual tuition is split into 10 monthly payments, and an optional hot lunch program is available.
