Wiley Academy for Specialized Learning (WASL): A Therapeutic Preschool

Kayne Eras Center in Culver City, California, is an accredited, non-profit special education day school and comprehensive clinical center operated by the Exceptional Children's Foundation (ECF) for students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade with complex learning, intellectual, emotional, and neurodevelopmental challenges across Los Angeles County. Operating since 1946, Kayne Eras Center integrates individualized academic curricula with intensive on-site mental health counseling, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and art/music therapy. Park Century School is a K-8 private school in Culver City for bright children with learning differences. Sheila Cohn opened the program in 1968 after she could not find a school that fit her son's learning profile. The first classroom was in a Century City apartment; the name combines that neighborhood with Putney Park, a school her children had attended in England.
