Excelsior Charter Schools has served Inland Empire students for 30 years as a tuition-free public charter network, and Excelsior Charter School Corona is its Corona-Norco campus. Our schools serve grades 7 to 12, and our motto sums up the goal: together, preparing students to be successful adults. Students choose how they learn. Options include on-campus classes with small class sizes, live virtual sessions on Zoom, full-time supported independent study, college courses, or a blend of these. Through our College and Career Access Pathways agreement, high school students can take college classes during the school day on an Excelsior campus and earn both college and high school credit, with no cost for tuition or textbooks. We also offer career technical education. Each student in a classroom-based program meets with a school counselor at least twice a year for academic planning, course selection and college and career guidance, and counselors also provide short-term individual and group counseling. Students can join ASB and yearbook, which plans campus events and runs our 5 STAR Store. We serve breakfast and lunch on campus.
