About Gateway Academy Preschool
Gateway Academy Preschool enrolls children from 24 months old, and our oldest group covers kindergarten and first grade. Children move through four classes: Wiggles for 2 to 3 year olds who are not yet potty trained, Juniors for potty-trained 3 to 4 year olds, Pre-Kindergarten for 4 and 5 year olds, and Kindergarten/1st Grade for children 5 and up.
Our philosophy is Play, Learn, Grow. The age-appropriate curriculum mixes academic work and social skills with creative art, music, science and cooking.
Our director also teaches our Pre-K class. She holds a bachelor's degree in education and an early childhood education certification and has taught for 21 years. We are open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on East End Avenue in Chino, and we serve a morning and afternoon snack each day.
