Blue Oak Elementary School

Camerado Springs Middle School is an International Baccalaureate World School offering the IB Middle Years Programme to students in grades 6 to 8 in Cameron Park, part of the Buckeye Union School District. Every student takes a world language class and studies subjects from a global perspective, with a curriculum built on the California Content Standards. Fifth graders in the district move up to us without re-registering, and incoming 6th graders can take a math placement test for our advanced math pathway. We want students connected to school from the first day to the last, whether their interest is athletics, the arts, technology or leadership. Our music program includes a 6th Grade Concert Band and a 7th and 8th Grade Symphonic Band as regular courses, plus Jazz Band after school. Visual and performing arts classes and school sports, including girls soccer, round out the program. Families support the school through our Parent Club, a nonprofit affiliated with the National PTO, which funds classroom equipment and school-wide projects. District bus routes serve Camerado Springs, and the district runs an expanded learning program.
