About Earhart Elementary School

Amelia Earhart Elementary sits on Bay Farm Island in Alameda, near Oakland International Airport, a reminder of the aviator our school is named for. We are a public transitional kindergarten through 5th grade school in the Alameda Unified School District, in a neighborhood of trails, lagoons, parks and ball fields along San Francisco Bay.

Through our PBIS program, students learn the same schoolwide expectations in every setting, and staff recognize them with SOAR tickets. A Coordination of Services Team meets regularly to connect students with help in behavior, academics, attendance, health or social-emotional needs, with parents as active partners.

Volunteering defines our school culture, with parents, extended family and neighbors supporting classrooms through our PTA.
