Mexicayotl Academy of Excellence opened its doors in Nogales in 1998 with a dual language program and an intercultural curriculum. Our goal is bi-literate leaders: students build grade-level literacy in both English and Spanish, and reading and writing in the two languages develop together starting in kindergarten.
