Milestones Therapy

Milestones Therapy provides pediatric speech-language and feeding therapy at its Tifton clinic. The practice works with infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents on articulation and phonological disorders, childhood apraxia, developmental and receptive or expressive language delays, autism-related communication, social communication, fluency, AAC, and feeding or swallowing concerns. Individual sessions last 30 to 45 minutes, and parents or caregivers may observe or receive a summary of the goals addressed. The team also offers adult speech, language, and swallowing services. Becky Waldrop, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, founded the practice in 2018 and is trained in Beckman Oral Motor, Talk Tools, PROMPT, and Vital Stim. Accepted plans include Georgia Medicaid, Peach State, CareSource, Amerigroup, Wellcare, Anthem and BCBS, and Aetna, with Babies Can’t Wait and NOW or COMP waiver programs also listed.
