Houston Mind and Brain provides careful ADHD evaluation for adults, beginning with a full hour with a psychiatric provider. Diagnosis draws on a full psychiatric evaluation, collateral information from a spouse or parent along with school and prior records, and follow-up cognitive testing of attention, impulsivity, and executive functioning. The process can take more than one visit because anxiety, depression, and sleep problems can look like ADHD. We do not treat ADHD in children or adolescents. The practice also offers psychiatry, psychotherapy, TMS, Spravato, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and clinical trials.
