We provide focused ADHD testing and autism evaluations for adults and children ages 8 and up from our Squirrel Hill office in Pittsburgh. Testing combines attention and executive functioning measures, cognitive screening, and parent, teacher, or self-report rating scales with interviews and history. After intake and screening, in-person testing typically takes two to four hours across one or more appointments. We write a clear, concise report with findings and recommendations and then review results with you in a feedback session. Our team also offers therapy and medication management.

The Center for Pediatric Neuropsychology provides neuropsychological and psychological evaluations and therapy for children and their families from three Pittsburgh offices. We evaluate autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and early childhood development, and we work with children who have complex medical illnesses and neurobehavioral disorders. For young children with possible autism, our evaluation includes an in-depth parent interview, behavioral observation, standardized assessment with the ADOS-2, and an easy-to-read report, with feedback on diagnosis and recommendations given at the visit when possible. Children over age four are seen through our neuropsychological evaluation. We collaborate with pediatricians and treating professionals, and we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, UPMC Health Plan, Medical Assistance, and Community Care Behavioral Health.

We provide psychological testing, ADHD testing, and neuropsychological testing as part of a large group practice offering therapy and psychiatry across the Pittsburgh area. Our evaluations address concerns with memory, attention, learning, head injuries, and neurological conditions, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, concussion, and dementia. We also provide independent medical and psychological evaluations for legal cases and assessments for current and retired professional athletes. We offer psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults in Pittsburgh and, where appropriate, by telehealth throughout Pennsylvania. ADHD evaluations explore attention, organization, impulsivity, and follow-through using developmental history, structured interviews such as the DIVA-5, and rating scales. Autism assessments look at social communication, masking, and repetitive behaviors, and we can discuss sensory concerns and dyslexia screening. We also provide personality and diagnostic clarification testing, police psychological examinations, therapy, and medication management, and we discuss insurance options upfront.
