Alderwood Psychological Services - Charlotte

Families from South Charlotte, Ballantyne, Matthews, and Fort Mill come to our Carmel Commons office for testing and therapy. Our licensed psychologists complete neuropsychological evaluations that look at learning, attention, executive functioning, and emotional development.

We also offer autism spectrum evaluations focused on social communication, development, strengths, and support needs, ADHD testing for older adolescents and young adults, and admissions and IQ testing for private school entry, giftedness, and early kindergarten entrance. Recommendations are personal and practical, with guidance for home and school. Alongside testing, we provide child and teen therapy, play therapy, and PCIT.
