North Star Family and Child Psychology - Edison

Located in Edison, North Star Family and Child Psychology is a team of doctoral-level clinicians who specialize in autism, ADHD, anxiety, tic disorders, and other neurodevelopmental concerns. We offer autism evaluations for children, teens, and young adults, along with neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations and autism program evaluations for schools.

Child autism evaluations begin with a detailed caregiver interview and include direct observation with the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, cognitive testing, adaptive skills assessment, and teacher input when needed. For teens and adults, their own experiences are central, with input from a parent, partner, or spouse. Evaluations take place in person in our office, and every family meets with us afterward to review results and plan next steps. We also provide therapy and parent training.
