Students who are working hard but falling behind are often the ones we see. Our psychologists in Severna Park, including Dr. Laurie Perlis and Dr. Clara Ko, provide psychoeducational testing for ages 5 through 30, with older adults considered case by case.

Testing looks at cognitive, academic, and behavioral functioning to clarify learning disorders, autism, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, slowed processing, memory difficulties, and gifted abilities. We build a profile of strengths and weaknesses with recommendations for interventions inside and outside school. We also attend IEP and 504 meetings and work with teachers, therapists, and medical providers so the plan carries through. Families from Annapolis and across Anne Arundel County visit us.
