About Saint Joseph Catholic Elementary School
Saint Joseph Catholic Elementary School runs from a three year old preschool class through eighth grade at 2980 Quincy Avenue in Ogden, with two classes per grade through fifth and a rotating course schedule for sixth through eighth. It operates as one system with Saint Joseph Catholic High School, so together the two cover pre-3 through twelfth grade, and students move between the campuses for events and activities.
On students with identified needs the school is direct. It takes students with IEP or 504 plans on a case by case basis, states it can accommodate and serve some of them, and will work with the local school district. Each student and plan is evaluated so the school can lay out honestly what it can and cannot offer, and it says plainly that it does not have the resources of the public school system and cannot serve all plans. Kindergarten through eighth grade tuition is $9,250 at the qualified Catholic rate or $9,500 at the average cost to educate rate, plus a $350 registration and program fee and a $125 graduation fee for eighth graders. Preschool and pre-kindergarten cost $4,625 for weekday mornings or $9,250 for full days. Financial aid runs through FACTS. The school points families to Utah Fits All at up to $8,000 a year, ACE Scholarships, and the Children First Scholarship, which is for children with disabilities and generally requires an IEP or 504 plan, and it publishes Carson Smith legacy transfer application dates. Students take STAR testing five times a year in English and math from second grade up.

Rogue Academy sits inside Rogue Behavior Services' center at 3651 Wall Ave, Suite 1004, in Ogden's Newgate Mall. It takes students from preschool through eighth grade, requires an autism diagnosis for admission, pairs each student with a registered behavior technician for one on one support, and builds the schedule around what works for the family rather than a fixed bell timetable. The surrounding center provides applied behavior analysis in a structured space set up for both individual sessions and small group work, so students get peer interaction alongside one on one time. Board certified behavior analysts assess each child, write the plan against that assessment, and adjust it as goals are met, while registered behavior technicians run the day to day sessions.
