Additionally, strong partnerships with families enhance the educational journey, creating a supportive community that encourages collaboration and engagement. This nurturing atmosphere not only promotes academic success but also builds lasting relationships among students and their families.

The Winston School of Short Hills is a coed, private school dedicated to providing quality education to children in grades 1-8 with language-based learning differences. Our students are capable of academic excellence, but face a range of challenges such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, low processing speed, central auditory processing disorder, and poor organizational and executive functioning skills. We employ Orton-Gillingham-based reading programs and a multi-modality, multi-sensory approach to teaching in all disciplines and grade levels to overcome these hurdles. As a result, our students move forward to attend high schools across various sectors such as mainstream public, independent, boarding, or parochial schools.
