Portage Adult Education

Neighbors' Educational Opportunities, known as NEO, is a Portage-area education organization with adult education, a testing center, and job training. It is not a special-education school. The same organization operates Options New Vistas High School, a tuition-free public high school open to Indiana residents of all ages.

New Vistas offers a Core 40 diploma with smaller classes, flexible schedules, project-based learning, student-led pacing, remote coursework, dual credit, vocational options, and early graduation. The high school also lists on-site mental health services, remediation, and accelerated learning. Adult education sits beside that high school path for adults who need credentials, testing, or training rather than a traditional campus day.

NEO's Portage adult-education work sits with that high school path. It is a general-population adult and alternative-diploma program, not a therapeutic campus.
