Florida's Early Steps program provides free services to infants and toddlers (birth-3 years) with developmental delays. No income requirement. Services are delivered where your child lives and plays. Call your local Early Steps office or ask your pediatrician for a referral.

Know Your Rights: IEP and FAPE
Every child with a disability is entitled to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) under IDEA. If your child qualifies, the school district must develop an Individualized Education Program (IEP) at no cost to you. You have the right to participate, disagree, and request independent evaluations.

Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES-UA)
Florida's main scholarship for students with disabilities. Provides funds for private school tuition, tutoring, therapy, and more. Replaces the older McKay Scholarship. Apply through Step Up for Students.
