Prince William Academy

Prince William Academy is an independent, secular private school in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge, Virginia, operating since 1986. It runs year-round and serves children from infancy through Grade 9, spanning an infant and toddler program, preschool, lower and primary school, and an Upper School covering Grades 7 to 9.

The school emphasizes small class sizes, a 1:16 teacher-to-student ratio in K-8, world languages including Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin, plus music, drama, soccer, engineering, athletics and leadership development. Extended hours run 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with before and after school care, a hot lunch program, tutoring, and summer, spring break and winter camps.

Elementary and middle school families can choose 10-month or 12-month schedules.
