Town & Country was established in 1961 as a K-8 program by child psychologist Dr. Lillian Whitmore and a group of parents of children with learning disabilities. We serve deserving students who are capable of learning but require a different approach. Our students often struggle with anxiety and/or depression in addition to their learning differences because of lack of success in traditional learning environments. Today, we are Northeast OklahomaÕs only state accredited, non-public, full-day program specifically designed to meet the needs of students in second through twelfth grade who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities, ADHD, and High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder.
