Oklahoma Connections Academy

Oklahoma Connections Academy opened in 2011 as a tuition-free online public school, and today we serve students in grades PreK to 12 across the state from our base in Bartlesville. We are authorized by the Oklahoma Statewide Virtual Charter School Board, and our Oklahoma-certified teachers are trained specifically for online instruction.

Our curriculum is aligned to Oklahoma standards and mixes live teacher-led lessons with self-guided work. We offer a Pre-K program, a remedial math and reading program for K to 8 students who need extra help, gifted and talented courses, honors and Advanced Placement classes, and dual enrollment through local vocational schools and colleges. Our Mobile STEM Lab bus, Exploration Station, travels the state with labware and learning kits.

For students with IEPs, our special education team provides consultation, curriculum accommodation and modification, direct instruction, and collaboration with Learning Coaches and teachers, plus related services set by the IEP team. Students also join field trips around Oklahoma, the Anchored4Life peer program, and National Honor Society or National Junior Honor Society. We are a Purple Star School for military families.
