Elevation Autism Center
VerifiedElevation Autism Center provides a specialized early learner program designed specifically for toddlers and young children, typically through Kindergarten (ages 1-5). Their approach is built on the belief that children learn best when they are engaged, happy, and having fun. By utilizing a "play-based" methodology, therapists turn activities like tossing a ball or blowing bubbles into opportunities to teach vital communication and social behaviors, such as requesting, turn-taking, and patience. The center views itself as a "Partner in Progress" for families, walking alongside them from the initial enrollment all the way to the transition into Kindergarten. Their masters-level professionals craft customized plans backed by decades of research, ensuring that every milestone is designed to build upon a child's natural strengths. The goal is to help young learners make significant strides in development while parents find peace of mind. Elevation Autism Center's environment is immersive and designed uniquely for little ones, moving away from clinical sterility to a warm, inviting space. They focus on understanding the "why" behind behavior—learning what in the environment influences choices—and applying that understanding to help children overcome challenges and navigate the world with independence.
Marcus Autism Center
Marcus Autism Center, a part of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art clinical services to children with autism spectrum disorder. Their intensive Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy Services Program provides individualized treatment focused on improving the core deficits associated with ASD—social communication and play. While their approach is heavily rooted in the science of ABA, they utilize developmental and play-based strategies to ensure children are motivated and engaged while working on treatment goals most critical for their continued development. The ABA Therapy Services Program operates from three locations in metro Atlanta: the main Marcus Autism Center location on Briarcliff Road in Atlanta, the Northside Professional Center on Johnson Ferry Road in Sandy Springs, and Children's at Forsyth in Cumming. Each location features specialized classrooms with multiple stations designed specifically for children, including gross motor rooms, trampolines, and intake evaluation areas. Children receive one-on-one therapy from specialized clinicians throughout their program. At Marcus Autism Center, the focus is on providing individualized therapy for children who require intervention to further develop social communication and play skills. Their team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and specialized clinicians work closely with families to set meaningful goals during intake and continuously evaluate progress throughout treatment. As part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta system, Marcus Autism Center maintains the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence, with comprehensive protocols to protect patients, families, and staff. The center also provides extensive autism resources, tips, events and workshops to support families beyond direct therapy services.
