St. Joseph’s School for the Blind in Jersey City serves students ages 3 to 21 with visual impairments, including students with additional disabilities. Our school program can include occupational, physical and speech-language therapies. For infants and toddlers, we also provide early intervention in partnership with families, including home-based instruction.

We welcome children from age one through sixth grade. Our early childhood programs include preschool for ages 1 to 4, Forest Pre-K4 for four-year-olds, and Forest Kindergarten for five-year-olds. We draw on the Reggio Emilia approach and add outdoor, place-based learning in our forest classes. We also offer a 10-week summer camp for children ages 1 to 9.
