Alphabet Academy

Alphabet Academy is a family-run preschool and child care center on Inman Avenue in Colonia, New Jersey. Families choose half day (9 to noon), school day (9 to 3) or full day schedules, three to five days a week, and the center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Children move through four classrooms by age: Toddlers from 18 to 30 months, Pre-3 for children about to turn 3 who are not yet toilet trained, Pre-Schoolers ages 3 to 5, and a 4+ class for older fours who miss the township kindergarten cutoff. Our preschool day follows a structured academic curriculum led by teachers and assistants, with music, gym, literature, arts and crafts every day, plus imaginative play to build attention span and early skills. Each room keeps a small caregiver-to-student ratio.

Our building has bright classrooms with learning centers, an indoor gym sized for young children, an outdoor playground and video monitoring in every room. Each summer we run a themed Summer Enrichment program for ages 2 1/2 to 6. Monthly tuition ranges from $505 to $1,455 depending on age and schedule.
