About Palm Beach School For Autism
From preschool through high school, our Lake Worth charter school serves students with autism and offers a transition program for young adults. Our teachers use small-group and whole-group instruction to teach academic subjects and IEP goals. In preschool, we use a specialized curriculum, communication supports, speech and language therapy, sensory strategies, and applied behavior analysis principles throughout the school day. Our elementary, middle, and high school programs cover reading and language arts, math, science, and social studies. Middle and high school students also practice independent living and functional skills. Project Next helps young adults build employment, self-care, self-advocacy, and daily living skills through job coaching, community work experiences, and campus businesses.
