Children's Developmental Services of Campbell County runs early childhood programs from its center on 4-J Road in Gillette, serving children from birth to age 5 and their families. Our preschool classrooms bring children with and without disabilities together in a regular classroom setting, and we offer full-day and half-day preschool for children ages 3 to 5, including care for working parents. Our Early Intervention and Education Program screens infants and young children for developmental delays, completes evaluations and plans services in partnership with parents. Speech-language staff provide screening, evaluation and therapy for children with speech and language delays, and occupational and physical therapists work on motor development, sensory skills and self-care at home, in community preschools or in child care centers. Early Head Start serves pregnant women, infants and toddlers through home-based visits. Preschool classrooms use The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, and all of our services run 12 months a year so children keep their progress over the summer. The center is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Black Butte High School, known as the is a public alternative high school serving grades 9-12 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. As part of the Sweetwater County School District alternative education program, the school provides flexible programming and individualized learning opportunities for students who benefit from non-traditional educational approaches. The school maintains a supportive learning environment with personalized attention and strong family partnerships, helping students achieve their educational goals through adaptive scheduling and individualized support programs.

Central High School is a public high school operated by Laramie County School District #1, serving students in grades 9-12. The school provides standard public education with comprehensive support services including special education programs, resource rooms, and IEP services as required by law. Central High emphasizes family partnerships and maintains an inclusive educational environment that supports all learners. Like other public schools in the district, they offer general special education services but are not a specialized therapeutic or dedicated special needs school. Students with diverse learning needs receive support through standard public school inclusion and resource programs.
